Homes Over the Water

To travel to the idyllic island of Moorea in the small south Pacific nation of French Polynesia is to enter another world. Verdant mountain peaks tower above the pineapple plantations in the valley. The local people greet the travelers with a smile and a wave. And some of the houses jut out over the blue waters of the picturesque lagoon. Iridescent Beach in Paradise

The small south Pacific country of the Cook Islands has many islands and many beautiful beaches. This one is called One Foot Island, and is located near the larger island of Aitutaki.
